this is all the rot that i have this far cut out of my car ...i didn't want to have to go this far but i found out that by getting any closer to the rot...you end up just blowing holes in the metal because it's too thin to weld and you just keep trying to save the pan. at that point -more or less chasing yourself into more work then if you had just cut it up passed it and graphed in new larger patch pan.you can see that i tried to save the rt. side lower fender sec in this photo...and kelp having this problem as said about above.
