[GFS] MOPAR 303--318 ENGINE QUESTION

Hi Guys,
 
         I am about to  replace my Plymouth stock oil pump with a Mopar or 
aftermarket HIGH  VOLUME pump. Has anybody did that to their 301--303--318 old 
style wide block  and do you have any suggestions for me to do or not to do? I 
will most likely  replace the main and rod bearing while the pan is down.
All answers are appreciated.
