Re: IML: 1973 Imperial GASTANK

If you want to buy a new one, that's fine but you can get the one you have cleaned and lined/coated for about half the price.  I had the gas tank for our '61 Crown done in October in Oklahoma City for about $40.  Don't know about Tulsa, but surely there is a good radiator shop that can clean, seal and line/coat that tank for you if you want to save some cash.

Hello list.
Recently my 73 started "choking down" as if she wasn't getting enough fuel. Now she stalls and I don't dare take her but a few blocks from home.  I removed her fuel filter and found RUST! in the gas. :(

So, I am going to get it fixed, and am looking for suggestions.  I looked this gastank up on eBay, and wondered if anyone thought it was a good value, or if they had done business with the vendor.

Thanks!
