Has anybody ever had an alluminum or sheet metal shop coble up a set of sill plates ? It does'nt seem so impossible in my eyes. I've cosidered checking into this since its so hard to find good originals for my 60 2dr coupe.

A company named "Doorsills" made new ones for me, for my '55, for $220. It was a long wait as he has a large backlog but he did a good job.  They are made by hand but replicated the originals very well.  He is located in NJ, phone 973-423-1196.  His catalog does not show a 1960 Imperial but if you have the old ones he could probably copy them.
