Re: IML: 1956 station wagon?

Seller is Charlie Marshall, at least that's his phone number.  He advertises for "wanted" cars in the various Mopar club mags and often has examples of low production cars--i.e.  '58 Dodge Spring Specials, a special trim pkg type thing.  The Imperial wagon is a new one.  I would investigate thoroughly for documentation on it.  Experiences with Charlie have not been exactly 100%, ahem.

Do know that we owned a 56 Imperial Wgon that was put together by a local SF collector, nicely done NYkr wagon with Imperial taillights and fender tips and an Imperial front grille.  Not too tough to do.  Sold it to a collector in LS who has done a complete, very expensive restoration on it, now maroon with maroon interior, a gorgeous car, so not the one described by Charlie.  When we had it, the color was a dark metallic gray, an overall #3 car.

I'm not too far from Atherton, can check car out if there is a serious IMLer buyer out there.
