Re: IML: who's compiling the 67-69 rotors needed list? (Deposit needed?)

Woops; What I meant to say was that I believe the Imperial rotors are of a different size then the Chrysler.

Budd disc brakes were used on all C body cars -

Plymouth Fury/VIP - 1966-1968
Dodge Polara/Monaco - 1966-1968
Chrysler Newport/300/New Yorker - 1966-1968
Imperial Crown/LeBaron - 1967-1969

The front disc diameter was 11.76" on all Fury, Polara/Monaco, Chrysler and
Imperial Budd rotors. However, all but the Imperial used the 'normal' 4½"x
5 bolt pattern, while the Imperial used 5" x 5. The wheel hub is separate
from the disc, by the way..

So, the question now arises, just how different is the Imperial rotor from
the rest, and where are the differences?

One final note. Chrysler was the only manufacturer to use Budd's opposed
piston disc brakes.

I don't think the Budds are used on the 300. If they were, I think we
would
have enough folks looking that someone would have reproduced them by now.
