IML: 1961 Imperial

I am working on a 61 Imperial. I have two questions. The first is on the 
removal of the antenna does the chrome piece unscrew from the stem  or does 
it have a set screw.

The second is this for anyone that has had or has painted a black Imperial. 
I am deciding between Dupont black single stage urethane or catalyzed 
acrylic enamel. What is opinions on this?
