IML: Auto-part for Imperial'93 in search! Help me, please!

Dear Imperial Lovers!
Please, help me!
I need to restore my '93 Imperial to its previous utmost condition after minor car accident.
The problem is that I cannot find a part named CARRIER (ref.No.5262266). This part seems to be made of some plastic and needs to be fully replaced as our local garage gurus said. Unlike metal parts its minor damage cannot be restored to its original shape and condition. Unfortunately our local repair shop supplier from New York area cannot spot this CARRIER part himself... I was waiting for 2 months until yesterday they finally gave up and said I should try to find this carrier part myself. I searched at www.auto-parts.com but still carrier part was not available.
Can you help me with any source where I can continue search for this mysterious carrier? I would be obliged for your assistance!
Well, I need Bumper rear (ref.No.4388513), but it seems there is no deficit of them by now on the market.
I live in Moscow, Russia, thus cannot visit any of the salvage yards myself... Supplier from New York is not an enthusiastic person to skip here and there in order to satisfy my request. Sure, why bother with such a headache if more handsome profit can be obtained shipping regular parts to modern cars....
I can send a pic of this CARRIER part if you feel like interested...

Dear Mark;

Thanks very much.  I anticipate needing lots of help.  I consider myself
pretty knowledgeable about cars (late 60's to early 70's) but know nothing
about Imperials.  For instance I was not aware to look for left-handed
threads on the wheels.  I anticipate getting myself into projects and then
needing help to finish.  I believe I will be asking many questions of the
IML membership.

When I take possession I will give details.  In the meantime, I have a 63
convertible as the screen saver on my computer.  I thought I would let you
know because it is a photograph of your car.  By the way, my youngest
daughter loves it.

I will post details in the future.

Hello everyone,



Thank you for all your responses and interest in re-making these rotors.
Since the responses started to slow down I figured it was time to quote and
see if you all are still interested. I wont even bother to quote under 50
rotors as the price is out of most peoples range.



For a quantity of 50+ rotors they will be $179 each plus whatever shipping
is. I am sure if you go back to Brakes Precision you will see that there
price has gone up because since 2003 the price of steel has gone through the
roof. The other reason why these are so expensive is the engineering costs
and high tooling costs.



Please let me know if you are still interested and if there are over 50 to
be made then we should be all good. There will be a deposit of $100 required
per rotor sent via check to us before we will start on the production. If it
is easier you can prepay the whole amount to avoid having to send two
checks. The lead time from when we receive all the deposits to delivery to
you will be around 12 weeks. So please if everyone could email me if they
are interested and willing to send a check as soon as we get an order for 50
rotors it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

Hello everyone,



Thank you for all your responses and interest in re-making these rotors.
Since the responses started to slow down I figured it was time to quote and
see if you all are still interested. I wont even bother to quote under 50
rotors as the price is out of most peoples range.



For a quantity of 50+ rotors they will be $179 each plus whatever shipping
is. I am sure if you go back to Brakes Precision you will see that there
price has gone up because since 2003 the price of steel has gone through the
roof. The other reason why these are so expensive is the engineering costs
and high tooling costs.



Please let me know if you are still interested and if there are over 50 to
be made then we should be all good. There will be a deposit of $100 required
per rotor sent via check to us before we will start on the production. If it
is easier you can prepay the whole amount to avoid having to send two
checks. The lead time from when we receive all the deposits to delivery to
you will be around 12 weeks. So please if everyone could email me if they
are interested and willing to send a check as soon as we get an order for 50
rotors it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

Since the responses started to slow down I figured it was time to quote and see if you all are still interested. I wont even bother to quote under 50 rotors as the price is out of most peoples range.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></DIV>

I am sure if you go back to Brakes Precision you will see that there price has gone up because since 2003 the price of steel has gone through the roof. The other reason why these are so expensive is the engineering costs and high tooling costs. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></DIV>

There will be a deposit of $100 required per rotor sent via check to us before we will start on the production. If it is easier you can prepay the whole amount to avoid having to send two checks. The lead time from when we receive all the deposits to delivery to you will be around 12 weeks. So please if everyone could email me if they are interested and willing to send a check as soon as we get an order for 50 rotors it would be greatly appreciated.
