Re: IML: Battery for a '56

I would try Interstate.CustomerService@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
or call Customer Service toll-free at 866-842-5368
I bought a Mega-Tron for my 69 that folks here recommended & am happy with it. Best of all, it is sized to properly fit in the battery space. Not a tiny battery like they would give you at Sears. The Imperial listing only goes back to 60 on their website. They suggest calling for a specific request that isn't listed.

Subject: IML: Battery for a '56

It seems I've killed the battery in my '56 trying to start it after rebuilding the carb (more on that subject in another post). Since I'm almost positive that the battery that is in the car is not the right size, I'm looking for advice on what IS the correct size. Mind you I'm NOT looking to start a big long discussion on battery brands - we all have our favorites - and I'm not looking for information on OEM look-a-likes. What I need is the battery number in today's sizing/labeling scheme that the typical know-nothing behind the parts counter can find.

Thanks,
Jeff
