tom, i have used champ plugs without problems but i am not married to  them. the main issue with plugs is that they stay clean and the gap is  correct. your gap i believe is .035, so if they are staying clean you  may just want to pull them and re-gap them. if you have only looked at  one of them in 4 years it would be wise to pull them and check the  condition of all of them. a little cleaning and regapping may improve  the idle, but chances are you do not have to buy new ones.    dennis
