Re: IML: Headliner for the 60

Hi,

If you go to the 1960 page, Richard Burgess' LeCrown, you will see an original headliner pad.  I have gone through 4 of these cars and all have had roof insulation.  I can't imagine an Imperial would have left the factory with out some type of pad.  Even the lowliest of GM cars had something.  However, anything is possible.  No mice is always a bonus to some.  I personally don't buy cars unless they come equiped with infestation.  Although, come to think of it, there was more of the back seat cushion in the headliner than headliner pad!

I just removed and my original headliner from my 60 to get the roof chrome off.  There was no insulation...no dead mice either!!

I have a 59 LeBaron and it did not have any kind of padding on the roof except for a few Mouse carcasses??????? Maybe that is where the padding went come to think of it?!
