RE: IML: Imperial Picnic?

OOPS, Yes, I guess the SCIOC forgot to notify the IML. Sorry, Bob.

I'm not really authorized to speak for the SCIOC, but I know those folks
pretty well, and I'm absolutely certain that they will not object to anyone
from the IML/OIC joining us.

The SCIOC is having its annual picnic at the park on OCT 1, Sunday, next
weekend, 9 days from now, the clock is ticking - - - (Got it, folks?).

This is a club run barbecue - you're all welcome to come show your cars,
(the park charges a $5 entrance fee at the gate, I think this is per car).

If you are already a member, of course, just call the club president (and
head chef), Marc Hampton at 760-323-0062 (or e-mail him at
dysarthampton@xxxxxxxxx) and tell him you'll be there - he will bump the
people count so he has enough food for all. He will ask you for $5 per
person to cover the food cost; just bring it with you. You should have
gotten a flyer to alert you, but it was a while ago, and if your filing
system is like mine, you can't find it!

If you are a member of the IML/OIC but not a member of SCIOC, you are
certainly welcome, but bring your own picnic please - or else it will get
too complicated to figure out the food. If anyone there wants to know, you
are my guest. And, if I may make a pitch, JOIN THE CLUB! It's a great group
- and we do fun things, about 4 times a year, and they involve driving our
Imperials somewhere.

The park is: Laguna Niguel Regional Park, 28241 LA Paz Road, Laguna Niguel,
CA 92677. We'll be at Shelter #4, just inside the gate. If you need a
Mapquest map, just punch in the address and they will produce one for you.

Subject: IML: Imperial Picnic?

Hi all -

I'm guessing that Dan's comments may refer to a Southern California
Imperial Owner's Club event. Sure would be nice if that Club posted its
events here - or did I miss a notice?
