RE: IML: 1955 Two speed Powerflite #2



It would appear that that paragraph refers to the "manual three speed
transmission" rather than any of the automatics.  The three speed torque
flight was installed in Imperials late in the 1956 model year - April-May.

Where does the two speed come in?  The '54 and prior seem to also be of
little help in regards to the issue.
