Re: IML: 73 Fuel Pump replacement

When it is retracted all the way, its flush. If you have one that stays put, your lucky. Most of the time, they slide down every time you manage to almost have the pump in place.

Subject: IML: 73 Fuel Pump replacement

Hi List,

After reading all the fuel pump replacing info in the repair section....I am in the process of replacing it today...After removing the old pump..(and the Alternator)..I began looking for the infamous pushrod...and I don't think it is in there...do those things fall out, or is it retracted all the way close to the cam?
