RE: IML: HP Manifolds do not fit Imperial

Manifold facts. There was a hi-po style manifold (double- hump) as on 383 440 Road Runners, Chargers etc.On Police Package C body cars.I've owned too many not to know.My thought was, if it fits a C body, then it should fit an Imp.With-in the proper years. The oldest cop car I owned, was a 69 Dodge Polara.  It had NO power steering, NO powerbrakes, air cond. cut-out switch, factory oil,and temp gauges, engine oil cooler, extra trans cooler.Engine was painted orange, also had the carter AVS carb, unlike all other 440's with air .My 76-77 had the E86 package, The engine specs, are the same as 69 Hi-po Magnum motors, except; compression ratio, and T-quad carb. All this means is, Chrysler had some special engines/ packages most people didn't know about. Thanks again, Dave.
