Re: IML: vacuum plating

I've seen Custom Coatings ad in Hemmings, but know nothing about them. They offer to strip the vacuum plating and chrome plate any plastic material. The phone # I have for them is 850 562-0538.

I don't know of anyone doing custom vacuum plating. There may be, but I'd guess it to be pretty expensive.

Thanks for the explanation and the links to the reference material. I learned something. Is this expensive to have done? It doesn't seem like it should be.
Thanks
