I see no sense besides for 100 %  race cars..

It doesn't absorb water like DOT 3. Thus, you don't have the chance of boiling the fluid and losing all braking power in high load condidtions, like driving in the mountains. It also impedes the formation of rust in the various lines and parts, for the same reason.
