There's another scam going around. I listed a snow machine for sale on the 
net but it could work for cars as well.

They tell you they want to buy your item, say they're shipping company needs 
to pick it up, and want to send you a cashier's check for more than your 
selling price with you paying the shipping co. My price is $2400. He wants 
to send a check for $5,000 and have me mail my check for $2600 to an address 
of the shipping co. I knew it was a scam and played along to get the check 
so I can turn it over to the authorities.  Today he verified everything and 
said I'll have his check in 3 to 5 days. The address he gave is in the US so 
maybe we can nap this jerk!
