RE: IML: CALIPERSONLINE

I?ve always done my brake work by the axle. Meaning if I do one rear brake,
I do both rear brakes. If I do one front brake, I do both front brakes.
And for the very reason you mentioned, to keep it from pulling in one
direction or the other. One can pretty much assume that the hydraulic
pressure will be the same at both front wheels when the brakes are applied.
If one side is mechanically different in any way (new pads, turned rotor,
new caliper) then it will behave differently than the wheel with older
parts.

I've been told that replacing both calipers as a set is best when just one
goes bad or the car may pull.  Do you think this is true?

I ordered a pair from calipersonline about a year ago and they were very
prompt to credit my credit card when I sent in the old calipers.  They're
working great and I recommended them then and now.
I just read Dick's comments as advice of caution which is always good advice
when doing anything online.
I don't know how many they have but at the time I had placed an order from
another source only to be shipped the RH side without informing me that the
LH side was not available.  I didn't want to tear down the LH side and wait
up to six weeks for them to rebuild.
