I'll add my congratulations to you - it sounds like a really great car, and
a rare one. 

Since you mention 8 track tapes, I assume it has the 8 track player, which
also means it has the 5 speaker audio setup - you're in for a treat, as the
sound quality is superb.  You may also have the stereo receiver - to learn
about how to identify it, you can read my write-up in the club pages - look
under the 1968 section.

By the way, you are posting in HTML.  It would be an act of kindness to the
rest of us on the list if you would change to plain text and trim your
posts.  This thread goes on for pages, and fills almost a whole digest with
gibberish and code that no one car read.

I just got back from looking at this car.  I also just bought it.  The plan
is to pick it up tomorrow morning.

The overall condition I think is terrific.  It has spent its entire life
indoors. (except while being driven of course)  So there is really no sun
damage to anything.  A few electrical things don't work but that's probably
just from sitting in storage for the past eight years.

After I get it home and go over it, I'll send more info and post some
pictures.

The other thing that really caught my attention on this one was that it is a
one owner car.  The owner just passed away at the age of 93 and has had it
since new.  There is a box full of receipts and old 8-track tapes in the
trunk.  The guy who is selling this on behalf of the estate will be looking
for more stuff on the car as they clear out the old house and garage.
