Imperialists of the 1960 style,
According to the OIC site, the '60 FSM under
"Fuel System" on pages 28 and 29 should help clear up your issue: the tank
is pictured and the location of the sending unit is noted; only you owner's of
said vintage shall know if those holes in the trunk would allow access at what
appears to the 'front' [end of tank pointed toward nose] of the fuel tank. Hope
