Re: IML: Parts for a 61

Kevin, there are vendor ratings right by the club's suppliers at:   http://www.imperialclub.com/Part/Yards/index.htm

I have had very good experiences with Bob Hoffmeister and Murray Park.  Either will have what you need, I'm sure.  Never had occasion to try the others.

Hi John,
Thanks for the info.  I think I might like to keep it original.  Do you know a vendor that would have the original piece?
Thanks,
Kevin

They'll fit, Kevin, but the 62 won't match the hood strip (62 has a blackened recess, others are smooth chrome).  And personally, I like the absence of a stand-up ornament on the 61 (63 has an eagle emblem attached).  These pieces are easily had from the Imperial parts folks listed on the club website!

Hi,
I have a 61 4-door Crown and am looking for some parts and I have a question.   I am looking for  the nose piece trim.  This is the curved strip just past the hood opening. If anyone has one, I would really appreciate it.  I was also wondering if the 62/63 Hood ornament would fit.
Thanks,
Kevin
