Re: IML: 56 car and engine prices?

Larry,
I have to chime in here. You will be surprised on what looks like trash but in reality will fix up nicely. I have had three 1956 Imperials. There are alot of tricks with a little hard work you will be a happy camper. Like everyone said as long as she aint rusted through all over the place you should be ok. You can recover the 1100.00 very easly as hard as parts are. If you have pictures I will gladly look at them and give you my opinion based on pictures alone. Be careful about price though. We all want a fortune for our Imperials but at the same time try to steal them from others. Dont blow it and have it destroyed buy someone else who doesnt appreciate the car for what it is.

Good luck

Subject: IML: 56 car and engine prices?

I have an offer for a 56 4 door southhampton. $1100 fo the car without the engine $2800 with theengine and $950 to get it transported from the west coast to illinois. Are these prices reasonable?

Thank you for your attention and help,
Larry
