IML: Axle

They only adjust from one side.  You can shim both axles tho.  Shim  until you are fairly close then use the adjuster to tighten until you have the right amount of play. You can just barely move the axle back and forth, where you can just feel a little play.  Very little play.  I usually tighten them fairly tight then thump the axle fairly hard with a maul or big hammer.  This helps set the axle.  Then finish adjusting..
