IML: 1960 Imperial LeBaron on Ebay

Since 1960 has been hot on the IML lately, how about that '60 LeBaron Sedan on Ebay! It looks like it could be a real show stopper. The car is gorgeous, and better be at $35,000! If it sells, those of us with '60 LeBaron Sedans should take a second look at our cars. I am planning to spend some time and money on mine this summer, but that has been the plan for the last three summers now. Maybe this will spur me on!

At this stage of my life my '60 has all the power I need just the way it came. The thought sort of popped in my head while I was going over some models I built when I was a kid. I bet any that are set up that way are that much overworked phrase: "awesome"!

I don't think any came that way, but the dealers were certainly well
enough equipped to do it. I bet there were some. If you want to install
it, go ahead, but be prepared to see a big drop in your fuel economy. I
knew the owner of a 1960 300 F. It took premium fuel and got 9 mpg on
the freeway.

Jeff Carter has '61 Convertible with that set up, and I think he can
supply the parts, some have been reproduced by him also. I think its
big bucks to purchase and not easy to keep in tune.

Hi gang -
Does anyone know if there were any Imperials equipted with the cross
ram manifolds found on the letter series Chrysler 300s? I remember
building a few AMT models in the '60s that had that and I was wondering
if there was any basis for that in fact. Given the almost Packard like
devotion to customer whims in the early '60s I was just wondering.
