RE: IML: LEATHER TREATMENT

You can contact Mike Commons of Commons Auto Parts in So. San Francisco at 650-583-1242 xt. 1

Just tell him you want the in-line power steering pump filter.  The cost is $26.95 and he will ship anywhere.  Also, this only fits the systems with the 3/8” return line.  I guess some of the older systems used 5/8” return line.

Burton and others interested in rejuvenating their leather,

Before you make a decision regarding which product to use, please contact Joanne Price at Color Plus.  Her number is 570 686-3158.  Tell her I suggested you call.  She has bent over backwards to help me with numerous cars.  Her leather cleaner and softener are phenomenal.  I now have unbelievably supple leather seats in my '72 Fleetwood and believe me that is not how they came to me in October of '06.  She created (took a lot of time but she got it right) the perfect 'match' for the most unusual shade of maroon/brown on my '63 Monaco Landau Thunderbird.

Joanne is a perfectionist and has EXCELLENT products.  As I said, give her a call before making your decision.  You won't be sorry...

Best,

The leather on the seats of my 1982 Imperial looks good but the leather is getting stiff and has cracked in a couple of places. I would be interested in Imperial Club members recommendations for a product that I can use to treat the leather to make it softer and more pliable. I probably can not reverse the aging process but maybe I can delay it. Thanks.
