Re: IML: 67 leaf spring axle pads

I purchased a set of new (rear) leaf springs from ESPO a while back, and just had them installed. The rubber isolators (bushings?) came with them, but hopefully they can sell you a set separately. They were nice bushings (the springs were nice too), and my '67 LeBaron rides MUCH better than it did before. My old ones were SHOT, and the rear end came up a full SIX inches when returning to the correct level. Replacing springs is laborious (and costly) but worth it. Been a few years, but I remember the folks at ESPO being friendly to work with.

Good luck - Mark.

When I got new rear springs for my 66, they were part of the package. The people I went to was ... http://www.espo.com/. They had springs for our 47 De Soto and due to the quality, customer service and etc, I used them with the Le Baron.

Hi All,

Does any body know of a source for new rubber isolator pads at the rear axle/leaf connections? Am going to get new springs and thought it would be nice to change these out to, after all they are 40 years old. I have found a source for the panhard rod bushings. thanks, Mike Becker
