Blow-by can be the sign of serious engine problems.If I'm not mistaken, you should have the road draft tube crank-case vent.It's possible the valve cover filter(some had it)  is plugged up, or the tube is coked up, reducing the flow. Simply cleaning the filter in the valve cover and tube may solve the problem.A cylinder leak down test, would help determine if rings are a problem.We've disassembled many engines, and found all oil control rings, as well as second compression rings frozen in the piston. Some of these engines were driven nearly every day, and as little as 50k- to 280k miles.Prolonged use only insures cylinder bore damage, and engine self destruction.Just another note, the rings that were stuck took a chisel and hammer to move, of coarse the pistons went in the trash, but I doubt an additive would work, in the long term.Just personal observation. Does your car have a PCV valve? Can you add one?
I purchased a 66 Newport which had a lot of "blow by" and simply cleaning the PCV valve fixed the problem.

OK, this is not a cure, and I highly recommend what you do not want to hear. Their is a temporary get me by can of something to help some with your blowby issue. RESTORE. It is available, most likely, a Pep Boys type of store and maybe a Napa store. I have used it to help out a temp situation before and it did slow up oil consumption and some sort of blowby. Change the oil when adding the can. It should be used to replace in volumn, the same amount of oil. It fills in in a sort of way, scratches in the cylinder walls. Again, only temporary and it seems to last between 1,000 to about 1,500 miles for me and might also depend on how many or how deep your existing current scratches or scrapes are.

Hi all!
We attended a small town car show today in Livingston, Montana.  About 100
cars but only 2 Moparsâ?¦one a Valiant and the other a cherry late forties
Chrysler Town and County Woody Convertible. I had never seen one of those.
The star of the show was a 1903 2 cylinder, 8 hp. fully restored HAASE. It
was Livingston's 'first' car!
 My 62 Imperial didnâ??t get to the show as it is getting a face-lift and
make-over.  With luck it may debut in August.  There are still lots of
details needing attention, the most serious of which is it's serious
â??blow-byâ??. It is such a fumer (not raw gas) that it isnâ??t at all pleasant
for long drives. Any ideas out there on what causes this? My stomach gets
sort of queasy even 'thinking' about having to endure the fumes.

 Many of you online folks have been so helpful and Jim Lorenzen has been a
jewel indeed.  We are currently busy exchanging parts and his tips have
been truly helpful.

Many other makes of cars have magazines...is there any Chrysler/Imperial
publication?
