RE: IML: 67 idler arm

I would recommend calling Lowell Howe.

The last time I was out at his yard there were 4 or 5 Imperials of the 67 – 68 vintage.  By coincidence I got the idler arm for my 67 from Lowell about 3 years ago.  If I recall correctly it was between $200 and $300 at the time.  But keep in mind that Lowell will not sell you an idler arm or a pitman arm that hasn’t been completely refurbished to like new condition.  He will send it to a place in Stockton that rebuilds it before he sends it to you.  He said he just didn’t feel right about selling a part that was so critical to a vehicles safe operation without making sure it was reliable first.
