RE: IML: Poetic License... 1962 LeBaron Coupe???

I'd say this is a Crown with LeBaron and deck lid add ons to make it look
like a LeBaron. Could still have leather seats too!
I'd say it's worth that price from what I see and the fact it runs great.
You could add a $1000 to ship it somewhere and still a good buy.
I would ask for better/more photos.

'62 LeBarons did not have script on the trunk lid, or or the front
fenders. They said IMPERIAL in the grill plate and across the back in
block letters. The LeBaron designation was in the roof side moulding
which appears to be correctly done on this car.

Nice job - I bet the filler on the rear roof is now worse that the lead
used on the 60's to get that limo backlite look.  There is no LeBaron
script on the trunk; and (I think) no crown visible over the front
fender scripts - also the absence of wheel arch and rocker trim;
altogether suggesting this began life as a Custom, not a Crown (or a
LeBaron, of course).  Why not?

Someone appears to have had some fun and also spent some time at the
junkyard.
