If you put a 12 volt source to the wire do the lights work?
i.e. bypass the hydraulic switch and run power from the battery to the lights, that way you will know if the wire is intact, because you have power at the switch, I bet the hydraulic switch on the master is plugged or bad....

turn signal working as are main lights . i note there is a small block at the end of the fuse board with a couple of wires out from it, dont think it is my problem area - but what is it for?

power is at the m/c switch so i guess its not a fuse?... so perhaps a burnt out wire some place?...

doh! my luck is pants !-(

i shall put a trace on the wire to the rear end and check for continuity.

as for the leaking m/c when brakes applied, any thoughts? recently overhauled so some air still in system, is this the cause ? or just a bad seal on the lid ?

i checked the feed at the m/c and found power, umm.. direct wired the b/l wire but still no brake lights ? i checked the bulbs and found ok ! - had another look at fuse board ,but nowt found.

surley there must be a relay or fuse box for the elec windows and head/tail/brake lights ???

looked at repair section ,but could not find info. please help me back on the road , as the suns come out finally ! ta

re m/c - found that brake fluid is leaking from top of m/c when brakes applied ? air in system ?

hi all, av a problem.. the other day a mate shorted the temp guage wires and now i dont have any brake lights ? cant locate a specific fuse, can anyone help ?? many thanks.
