Re: IML: WARNING : desert valley auto parts

JR is still around. Someone told me at work today that he was arrested because he still hasn't gotten rid of his cars as he was ordered in court to do so. From what I heard, he's planning on moving to South Carolina when he sells off his stuff.

I was in the older section, 50's.  they do have a large inventory.  I have been surprised to hear that they are not serving people well over the phone and mail deliveries.
I had spoke with Rosen and his availability on parts was good, but really high on a price.  He sent me his literature, and I still have it, but I think he went out of Bus. a few years ago now.  He was just a few miles ( less than 10) down the road at that time.
I would call and ask for the parts/years you need, If they have them I would be glad to look at the parts before you buy them.  That is when I can go to Phx. not much in the summer, but when its cooler like now I go down a bit.  I am making a trip this weekend.  Getting the last of the 53 Crown grill pieces that were re chromed!
Let me know I would be glad to help if I can.

Rick (et al),
Sorry, I was mixing Rosen up with this DVAP, too. Did you
check to see what years of Imperials they had? I need some parts
for our 75 LeBaron and possibly the 93.
Isn't Rosen and DVAP located close to each other? (within 10
miles?)

NO, he is a different guy, not connected with them at all. He
wanted 3
times the price for parts. I got all my parts for my 53
Imperial at
DVAP, John Rosen had all but were way over priced. Dave @ DVAP
told me
he knew John Rosen, and he (John Rosen) would get some of his
parts from
DVAP and sell them to people @ a 300% higher price than he
paid.
Make no mistake these are 2 unassociated businesses.
I have always had good experiences with DVAP on several other
cars and
trucks too. Face to face they are ok.
I think and hope John Rosen is out of business, he has gouged
enough people!

Yes same, if this is the same guy, I've seen some really

strange

stories come up about Johnny Rosen. Shame they can't all be

as honest

as Lowell.
Not on Johnny's level and I even feel bad mentioning him in

the same

email, but I've had some real trouble over the last few

months getting

hold of or any reply at all from Gary Goers. Has anybody on

the list

been in contact with him? I'm wondering if it's something

I've said

but he won't reply to my faxes at all. Maybe his number has

changed?

cheers,

Luke
