Re: IML: Great club, great people and great cars

My Imperials spent nearly 20 years languishing in their varied storage spots until I found this list in 2003. It has not only provided resources that help me get the parts I need to fix them, it also raises my level of interest high enough to keep on with the dream. This year, they may all be road worthy for the first time since 1985. I am very close, but if I don't quite make it, that's okay, too. I have made a lot of progress this year, and at least some progress each year since joining the list.

I am very grateful for the IML, the OIC web site, & everyone that keeps it going, including those who post comments and Q&A.

I just read Kenyon's post about the wonderful 1948 Imperial that Tom-Egil Seljås recently acquired. Maybe I'm just in a good mood today but posts like that just make me so pleased to be part of this great endeavor, the saving of our beloved cars. We have a great site, an active list, filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Some serious medical issues are kind of kicking me in the rear end these days, and my own Imperial keeps on getting bumped on my list of priorities but I remain confidant that sooner rather than later, I'm going to turn a corner and see that car, MY car, right up there with the best of them. (Gosh, don't fill up the list with stuff about my condition. It's not good but I shall asume your good will, if only because you want my car to get better, too!)
