RE: IML: 1967 Imperial Destroyed

Another movie that tore-up a 68 was Charlie Varick. Joe Don Baker drove a red 68, and chased an airplane in a junk yard, getting air a few times. And a more recent film, Madison, has a few quick spots with a 70-71 Dave.

FYI,

This may have been discussed earlier, but recently saw the movie ?Point Blank?, a 1967 Lee Marvin film which was the basis for the 1999 remake ?Payback? with Mel Gibson.  Same general story line where Lee wants $93,000 that the mob stole from him.  He takes a car dealer, who is a front for the local mob, on a wild ride where he totals a 1967 Imperial convertible (white over black) running back and forth between concrete bridge supports.  Now I know where one of the 577 produced ended up.
