I don't know those cars inside out, but I favor the
lines on the 53/54 - especially the rear door and rear
window.  I'd chase the later ones harder myself.  

Passed on a really hammered 50 awhile back.  Just to
frumpy even at $500 (sorry 1950 folks).

Pre 55 stuff seems to be warming up after being in the
doldrums forever.
