Which brings up another point. While the copper lines may solve the corrosion problem, they are very susceptible to vibration fatigue. Any line under the car that is not firmly tied down, as well as those in the engine area are potential problems.
 
Stainless has the advantage of great fatigue resistance and much lower thermal conductivity.
