When I was using my '60 as a daily driver the intown mileage was between 7 - 10, depending on how much "Stop Light Grand Prix"ing I did. On the Freeway at between 70 and 75mph I got around 19 - 20 mpg. Once you get all the weight rolling.......

   Eek! I'd say a carb, at least - it should get between 11 & 16.

   All old cars require steady injections of cash (or huge injections,
much less often, if you can afford to do it that way), but look on the
bright side - it's usually way less than new car payments, and you can
always find your car at the mall.
