Re: IML: interchange year for 1966 Idler puller

As long as the pulley accepts the correct size belt, I don't see much of a problem. You can always adapt the bracket to make it exactly fit.

Hi All...does any one out there (possibly with an Interchange book) know if the Idler Pulley for a 1966-1994 Chrysler New Yorker will ALSO fit my 1966 LeBaron?
I found it online ( www.autopartswarehouse.com) and it says its for the New Yorker BUT..I thought that MANY differnt Chrysler products used this same idler puller (the one for my '66 Imperial) even into the 1990's.
If anyone knows what other years my Idler Pulley is also used on please let me know ( dansgarage@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) as the Dealer said the saem pulley is used through the early 2000's (?). The dealer says its $30.00 and will take a week.
thanks all!!
