I haven?t ever had a machine shop miss a crack though I?m sure it is possible.  Were it mine I would go ahead and put it back together and hope for the best.

I always use the high volume standard pressure Melling pump.  The standard pump is fine I?m sure, I just feel a little better with the high volume pump down here in Sunny Florida when I?m idling in traffic for an hour.
