Hey guys, it’s just humor! Dan Neil is in his early 40s, I think, and a Pulitzer Prize winner for his journalism. He’s also a nice guy (and owns an MGA, which even appears as one of the 50 cars). 

Let’s face it, as much as we love our Imperials, we tend to appreciate them a little differently than the average person. And if you read all 50 cars in that series, you can’t help but chuckle a few times and admit that he doesn’t single any brand out (though the British sure are represented well).
