RE: IML: Another Sure grip ratio question

The 2:94 will definitely give you better gas mileage. I installed a 2:94 in my 1971 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Ht and the mileage went from 13 1/2 to 16 Miles per gallon on the highway. It made it a much nicer road car. We were using the NEW Yorker to take trips to California. The only drawback was loss of quick power.

The difference will be in top end speed. 3:23s will have better pulling power. and you may lose a little mpg. the 2:94 will have a higher top end speed. Not really good for towing a trailer. Great for road trips.
