RE: IML: shocks to level 67 Imperial Convertible

Using air shocks in that manner is a band-aid, and not a repair. Contact a
reputable spring company such as Espo, and price a new set of springs. Eaton
is another. A new set of springs is not that expensive.

Chris,

My 68 LeBaron was sagging a bit in the rear as well. I installed a set of
Monroe air-shocks. To maintain the correct ride height I keep about 45
pounds of air in them. They work great.

Can anyone who's had first hand experience with rear shocks and heavy
Imperials guide me to what to get. One of my rears is leaking so it's time
for shocks and I was wondering if there's a particular one you who recommend

that would also lift my sagging car a bit at the rear. I remember long ago
seeing those heavy duty ones with the additional coil spring around the body

of the shock?

Any thoughts?

Thx,
Chris
