hitches on '68 Imps



The primary reason I wouldn't go with an after-market hitch is that these cars 
are pretty low-slung to begin with - even a light duty hitch may hang down  
further than is good for the ground clearance factors, and dragging you 
tailfeathers off every curb you cross is not fun!  With a raised stinger and 
sway control (load equalizing) hitch setup, these old girls were good for a 
four-horse Miley back in their day. Assuming the aforementioned tranny cooler 
setup, of course. That's going to a ropin' in style!


My master welder husband has agreed to install my hitch if I let him haul 
hay..........you can imagine my response to that! Hayburner, maybe - hay??? 
HAH!! That's what his trucks are for!
