$8 NAPA Steering coupler? I'm more confused now (not hard to do)

What years is that NAPA part applicable to?  The page does not seem to show how you got there unless I missed something.

The one that I got is about an inch thick, about 4 inches in diameter, is black rubber, looks like a ribbed hockey puck, and has 4 holes like that one and no center hole.  The holes pass through metal blocks that are vulcanized into the rubber block and are isolated from each other.  The holes are in raised areas that look sort-of like a maltese cross, but not really.  The entire unit functions as a crude U-joint and would be what I would disconnect to detach the steering column from the steering box.  It is between the firewall and the steering box on the steering column.  My 73 is surrounded by what I think is a heat sheild.

The one in that photo does not look strong enough to transmit steering input (or am I wrong?).  If it does not couple the steering wheel-shaft to the steering box input shaft, what does a rag joint do?

I'm most curious.

My item is $80.  I'm suspecting that these are different animals?

Hi Kenyon,
Just to confirm, this is just the 'rag joint' the rubber/fiber round thing with the center hole and
4 bolt holes,
Napa offers this listing:
