Sounds like your about to have some fun....I am driving my 53 back and 
fourth to a body shop class, and have found the car a real kick to 
drive.  The 54 has more horsepower, and should be a nice ride.  I have 
fixed a ton of little things on my car, so feel free to contact me off line 
if I can be of any help I would be glad to share any of the lessons I have 
learned about my car.

PS I have a mag. "Car and Parts"  I think it was March 2003, a feature 
article cover page on a 54 New Yorker convertable, but also has a wealth of 
knowledge on the early hemi and its history, so if you can find a copy get it.
