IML: 1956 Imperial Choke setting

Hey everyone,

 I installed the heat tube that goes from the exhaust manifold to the choke on the carb. What is the easiest way to set the choke with carb on the car? I can't seem to get it just right. I cant afford to get a mechanic to do it plus I don't trust them. Spend money and get same result.
