ACC carpets are fine for daily drivers, or when exact duplication of original pile and texture is not crucial. This path looks best when all carpet is replaced throughout interior - kick panels, doors, etc.
Some owners of early '60 Mopars are currently using a residential carpet that is extremely close to the original pile and texture. This requires some expert cutting, stitching and reinforcing, but the results are quite nice.
Haven't seen what Gary Goers is offering - nor which of the two approaches it resembles the most. You might ask for a sample of carpet from him before ordering. I do know that he does interiors for the 300 Letter cars, and they used the same black carpet as Imperials. So it is possible he has the right stuff.
