Dear All,
Move over the Temptations, the Spice Girls are ridin' in the back of a
Forward Look car, in the shape 56 Imperial Southampton 4 door hardtop. Yes,
Forward Look cars can be stars in England, as well as the USA.
We have just finished filming our part in the new Spice Girls video to
promote their new CD, which will be released worldwide for Christmas. The
car is a major star in it because Posh Spice sings her part from the back
seat. It is also involved in a chase involving a helicopter and some husky
dogs!. You will be pleased to know the car survived this adventure in one
piece.
When the video is released I'm sure it will be heavily featured on MTV and
VH1 all over the world. Our cars are not only featured on the Country Music
Network!.
Earlier this year we had the same car featured in an up and coming mini
series about the life of Diana Dors, who was the English version Marilyn
Monroe, called "The Blonde Bombshell". She had a short spell in Hollywood
in the mid fifties, but only met with marginal success. The scene which
involved the car was shot outside an art deco London hotel, dressed up to
look like the Beverley Hills Hotel. The car drives into the forecourt of
the hotel to be met by crowds of reporters, before she exits the car and
goes into the hotel lobby. We even stuck on some yellow 56 California
license plates to make the scene more authentic looking.
This is going to be shown in England in the new year. Watch out for it
elsewhere.
