[FWDLK] 1956 Imperial Steering Adjustment Question

The 1956 Imperial -- and other similar Chrysler products, I think -- have
an adjustment screw on the steering gear box that is held in place by a
lock nut. You tighten the screw to remove slack from the steering. The
nut loosens easily but the screw is frozen in place. I have tried to
loosen the screw with penetrating oil to no avail. I am afraid to use
heat on the screw.

Two questions:

1. Any suggestions for breaking loose this frozen set screw?

2. Any recommendations regarding someone to rebuild the steering gear box?

Thanks, Jim
