I don't know if they have an AutoZone where you live, but they rent tools
like that for free.  You just give the deposit, take the tool and when you
return the tool, you get the deposit back.
I just rented their hub puller last weekend when I rebuilt my brakes.  It's
called a "front-wheel-drive hub puller", but it worked for the rear hubs on
my '58 Dodge.
In any case, a new one shouldn't be more than $30 or so.  (the depsit was
only $20).
